POSITION OVERVIEW The Team Lead – Canadian Accounts & Taxation will be responsible to manage and oversee accounting operations for Canada-based clients. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Canadian accounting & Taxation principles, team leadership, and client communication. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Technical & Operational Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Handle payroll processing, payroll accounting and compliance
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and deliver signature-ready outputs.
- GST and HST preparation,



Working experience with tax forms T1, T2

Client-Facing Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with Canadian CPA firms and end clients.
- Direct interaction with clients and managing client communications.
- Review monthly and yearly bookkeeping/accounting projects.
- Reviewing the compliance projects
- Ensure timely completion of projects and reprioritize tasks as needed.

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead a team, creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.
- Oversee team performance and ensure quality deliverables.
- Controlling attrition and motivate, encourage team members to maintain high morale and productivity.

Shift Timings:

- Indian Summer: 3:30 PM IST - 12:30 AM IST
- Indian Winter: 4:30 PM IST - 1:30 AM IST
