Role Description The Head of Engineering at Essence Innovation is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district. This role oversees the entire engineering function, including planning, building, and maintaining the AI-powered health app and supporting platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineering teams, defining technical roadmaps, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.



The Head of Engineering will establish best practices in architecture, security, scalability, and data privacy, and will monitor project progress, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization.
Candidates should possess solid Engineering Management and Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex technical initiatives on time and within scope.
