About the Role

Scrapio Auto Private Limited is looking for an Accounts & Payments Executive to manage day-to-day payments and payment-related accounting activities.

n

The role will work closely with the Senior Accountant and operations/procurement teams to ensure that vehicle procurement payments, vendor payments, employee expenses, and other operational payments are processed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Process day-to-day vendor, dealership, agent, and vehicle procurement payments
n
- Verify payment requests against invoices, approvals, vehicle records, and supporting documents
n
- Maintain accurate records of all payments made through bank, UPI, cash, and other modes
n
- Track pending, approved, processed, and failed payments
n
- Perform daily bank and payment reconciliations
n
- Maintain vendor and party ledgers in Tally Prime/ERP
n
- Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to resolve payment discrepancies
n
- Track advances given to employees, agents, vendors, and other parties and ensure timely settlement
n




- Maintain proper invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment documentation
n
- Assist the Senior Accountant with bookkeeping, GST/TDS documentation, monthly closing, and audits
n
- Prepare daily/weekly payment reports for management
n

Requirements

n

n
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts, payments, or finance operations
n
- B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred
n
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP
n
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and online banking
n
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, invoices, and accounting entries
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of transactions
n
- Valuable coordination and follow-up skills
n
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, trading, logistics, scrap/recycling, or similar operational businesses is preferred
n
