Role Description: The Supervisor – Staff Nurse is a full-time, in office role based at Upasani Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing nursing staff in assigned departments, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. The Supervisor – Staff Nurse will coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, monitor vital signs and treatment plans, and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.

Responsibilities include managing duty rosters, mentoring and supporting nursing team members,



facilitating training on best practices and infection control, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals for smooth clinical operations. The role also includes handling patient and family queries, escalating concerns appropriately, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the nursing services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess supervisory and team leadership skills, including staff coordination, mentoring, and workload management.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should hold a recognized Nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent) and valid registration with the appropriate nursing council.
