Role Description The Architectural Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings, plans, and layouts in alignment with project specifications and design standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting sketches and design concepts, developing accurate CAD drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, and site teams, and updating drawings based on feedback or site conditions.



The role involves ensuring drawings comply with building codes and company standards, maintaining organized documentation, and supporting project planning and execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with project and construction teams.
Qualifications
Ability to create and interpret Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings with a strong attention to detail.
Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles relevant to civil and interior projects.
Proficiency in technical Drawing using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) or similar design tools.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of local building codes, standards, and construction practices.
Strong spatial visualization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
