Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative, digitally strong and culturally sharp Head of Social Media, Digital Marketing & Branding to lead the overall digital presence and personal brand of Silambarasan TR (STR).
This role requires someone who deeply understands cinema, digital media, social media marketing, viral content creation, audience behaviour and AI-powered content tools.
This is not a regular social media management role. We need someone who can build strategy, create moments, understand what can go viral and continuously keep the brand relevant while maintaining STR's authenticity and positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Own STR's complete social media, digital marketing and personal branding strategy.
Manage strategy across Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube and emerging digital platforms.
Build a strong content strategy around cinema, music, lifestyle, public appearances, achievements,



announcements and organic moments.
Conceptualise viral content, reels, short-form videos, campaigns, digital activations and social-first ideas.
Understand current trends, memes, formats, algorithms and audience behaviour and identify opportunities that are relevant to STR.
Create strategies that generate organic reach, engagement, conversations and shareability, rather than depending only on paid promotion.
Lead digital marketing campaigns around movie announcements, teasers, trailers, music launches, releases, events and other key moments.
Understand paid social media marketing, targeting, campaign optimisation, audience segmentation and digital analytics.
Build and manage weekly/monthly content calendars while also being capable of reacting quickly to real-time opportunities.
Maintain a consistent visual identity, communication style and tone of voice across all digital platforms.
