You’ll turn a client’s load profile, tariff structure, and site constraints into a costed, standards compliant BESS proposal — then defend it in the room, whether that’s a 2 MW C&I; site or a 10 MWh grid-connected plant.

We design and build Battery Energy Storage Systems, backed by the Pai Kane Group’s 35+ years of engineering and manufacturing heritage — 700+ employees, 44,000+ m² of manufacturing, and 1 GW+ deployed across 86+ countries. We recently commissioned a 2 MW/4 MWh system in Dharwad and a 5 MW/10 MWh plant in Lucknow. We size systems to what a site actually needs, not a catalogue default. We’re an AI-native company. A meaningful part of how this role works is inside AI workflows and tools we’ve built ourselves for sizing, costing, and proposal generation. This isn’t optional tooling on the side — it’s the primary way the work gets done,



and you’ll be expected to improve it, not just use it.

THE ROLE

Run technical discovery with clients, EPCs, and consultants — load profiles, tariffs, demand charges, DG runtime, footprint — and turn incomplete inputs into a defensible design basis.
Size and specify the system: energy/power ratings, chemistry, PCS, BMS, EMS, protection, thermal and fire systems; for mobile BESS, genset load-following and hybrid control strategy. B
uild bottom-up costing and project economics (BOQs, capex/opex, LCOS, payback, IRR) and maintain the vendor cost database.
Write and defend technical/commercial proposals; run tenders end to end — RFP interpretation, compliance statements, pre-bid queries, bid packages.
Work daily inside our AI-assisted sizing and proposal tools — sanity-check every output (you own the numbers, not the tool), and contribute fixes, templates, and edge cases back into them.
