About the role
We are looking for an accomplished Analytics & Insights leader to build and scale a high-performing analytics capability within Woolworths Group India, supporting one of Australia's largest retailers and its growing digital and eCommerce businesses.
Working within the wiq ecosystem, created through the partnership between Woolworths Group and Quantium, you will help unlock the power of data to reimagine retail. The role sits at the intersection of Analytics & Insights, business decision-making and modern data capabilities, translating complex data into clear, commercially relevant outcomes.
This is a leadership role for someone who can build solid managers,



shape an AI-first culture and partner closely with CustomerX, eComX and other senior leaders. You will lead an organisation of approximately 50 team members initially, with scope for the capability to grow in size and impact over time. The role is not a traditional BI or reporting leadership position; it requires the ability to connect analytics, data, technology and business priorities to solve meaningful customer and commercial problems.

What you’ll do
Analytics & Insights Leadership
Team Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, including 5-6 Managers and approximately 50 analytics professionals, with the organisation expected to grow in size and scope over time.
Capability Building: Build leadership depth, raise analytical capability and establish ways of working that enable the team to deliver high-impact insights consistently.
Data Storytelling: Ensure complex analytical findings are translated in
