About the Role

We are looking for confident, motivated, and student-focused Student Counsellors to join our Sales team at our Kozhikode branch.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling student enquiries, understanding their educational and career requirements, providing suitable guidance, and converting enquiries into successful admissions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and persuasion skills, a positive professional presence, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for student enquiries.
- Handle incoming calls from prospective students, approximately 30–40 calls per day, with timely follow-up.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, interests, career goals, and requirements.
- Provide accurate information about courses, programs, fees, and admission processes.




- Counsel students and parents regarding suitable courses and career options.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Work towards daily and monthly enquiry-handling and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and prospective learners.
- Address student queries professionally and resolve basic concerns.
- Prepare and update reports related to enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Support other sales and student-support activities as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Prior sales experience is required/preferred.
- Experience in the EdTech or education sector will be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent counselling, convincing, and negotiation abilities.
- Confidence in handling phone calls and student enquiries.
- Ability to work effectively towards targets and deadlines.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain robust relationships with students and parents.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.

Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable, persuasive, and people-oriented, with the ability to understand student needs and guide them effectively.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling frequent calls, following up with leads, working towards sales targets, and interacting professionally with both students and parents. Prior sales or EdTech experience will be a strong advantage.
