Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed RCC building plans, structural layouts, and working drawings for residential and commercial projects.

- Carry out structural analysis and design of RCC buildings including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, shear walls, and other structural elements.

- Develop structural models and perform analysis using ETABS, PROTECTED, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent software.

- Design structures in accordance with relevant IS Codes and applicable building regulations.

- Prepare detailed structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and design calculations.

- Coordinate with architects, site engineers, contractors, and other consultants to resolve design and execution issues.

- Review structural drawings and ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with approved designs.

- Conduct site visits when required and provide technical guidance during construction.

- Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, and material requirements related to structural works.

- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, calculations, revisions, and project records.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.





- Experience in RCC building planning and structural design will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 2502 and other relevant standards.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software such as ETABS/SAFE/STAAD.Pro.

- Knowledge of RCC detailing, reinforcement design, foundation design, and seismic design.

- Ability to prepare professional structural drawings and design reports.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and practical interest may also be considered.
