- Manage receipt, storage, preservation and issue of raw materials, consumables, spares, tools and finished goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory control, stock reconciliation and ERP/SAP transactions.
- Maintain optimum stock levels and minimise inventory carrying cost, shortages and obsolete stock.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO, material identification, bin management and traceability.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and Logistics for timely material availability.
- Monitor GRN, material inspection, issue/return, transfer and dispatch processes.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, 5S and internal control requirements.
- Lead the Stores team, improve productivity and implement process/system improvements.
Preferred candidate profile Graduate/ Diploma in Mechanical with experience of 12-15 years.
