– Store In-Charge
Position: Store In-Charge
Department: Store / Warehouse
Reports To: Store Manager / Operations Manager
Job Summary The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the complete day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory, stock receiving, storage, issuing of materials, staff supervision, documentation, and maintaining proper store discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and supervise all day-to-day store activities.
- Receive, check, and record incoming materials and stock.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and arrangement of all items.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Issue materials against approved requests and maintain proper documentation.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and stock reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform management about shortages or excess stock.
- Prepare and maintain GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and other store documents.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and other departments regarding material requirements.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store.
- Supervise store helpers and allocate daily work.
- Prevent stock damage, loss, misuse, and unauthorized issues.
- Maintain proper records for damaged, rejected,
expired, or obsolete materials.
- Support monthly and annual stock audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Take full responsibility for the overall control and smooth functioning of the store.
Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of inventory and store management.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Leadership and staff-handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple store activities.
Experience & Qualification
- Qualification: / Diploma / Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in store, warehouse, inventory, or material management preferred.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
