Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced STIBO STEP Developer to support a major Master Data Management (MDM) transformation program for a leading home improvement retail organization. The STIBO STEP platform will be implemented across multiple European markets and will serve as a core platform for Product, Vendor, and other master data domains .

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in STIBO Systems STEP , with expertise in JavaScript-based Business Rules, workflow configuration, data modeling, Web UI, integrations, security, and MDM governance .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions using the STIBO STEP MDM platform.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript-based Business Rules within STEP.
- Configure and customize STEP workflows based on business requirements.
- Design and configure data models for Product, Vendor, and other master data domains.
- Configure and customize STEP Web UI components.
- Configure security, roles, permissions, and access controls within STEP.
- Develop and maintain integration endpoints and interfaces with upstream and downstream systems.
- Support data onboarding, validation, enrichment, transformation, and synchronization processes.
- Implement data quality rules, validations, and governance controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve STEP application, workflow, business rule, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data governance teams, integration teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.




- Ensure solutions follow MDM best practices, data governance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Support the rollout of STEP across multiple European markets.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of MDM lifecycle, governance, validation, enrichment, and approval processes.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on experience in STIBO STEP.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-level STIBO STEP/MDM implementations.
- Strong development and configuration expertise, particularly in JavaScript Business Rules and STEP Workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex MDM transformation initiatives.
