Job Title: Static & Rotary Fitter

Job Responsibilities

- Carry out installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of static and rotary equipment.
- Work on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, blowers, valves, heat exchangers, vessels and related equipment.
- Perform equipment alignment, shaft alignment, coupling installation and mechanical fit-up.
- Carry out dismantling and reassembly of mechanical equipment as per maintenance requirements.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and layout drawings.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Check vibration, lubrication, clearances, bearing condition and equipment performance.
- Carry out mechanical inspection and identify faults during maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper use of tools, tackles and measuring instruments.
- Follow site safety procedures, PTW requirements, PPE and applicable HSE standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other maintenance teams for smooth execution of work.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working practices at the work location.

Required Skills




- Good knowledge of static and rotary equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in pump, compressor, gearbox and valve maintenance.
- Knowledge of mechanical alignment and precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
- Knowledge of maintenance tools, tackles and lifting practices.
- Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Good understanding of industrial safety procedures.
- Ability to work in refinery, petrochemical or industrial project environments.
- Teamwork, discipline and good communication skills.

Qualification
- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Fitter preferred.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power plant or heavy industrial projects.
