Role Description The Direct Tax Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for managing all aspects of direct taxation for Panasonic India. The role includes overseeing tax planning, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance and tax preparation, and interpreting and applying relevant tax laws and regulations.



The Direct Tax Manager will review tax computations and filings, coordinate with internal finance and accounting teams, and manage interactions with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors. The role also involves monitoring changes in tax legislation, assessing their impact on the organization, and recommending strategies to optimize tax positions while maintaining full regulatory compliance. The individual will support internal controls related to tax processes, prepare tax-related reports and documentation, and contribute to risk management and business decision-making from a tax perspective.
