Key Responsibilities:



As a Senior Engineer in the Quality Engineering team, the incumbent will play significant role in handling complex functional testing & automation efforts. This position will involve conducting functional and automated testing of software applications, interacting with business and various stakeholders, understanding requirements, designing test cases, executing tests, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Engineer will work closely with leads to contribute to the overall testing strategy and process improvement.

- Leverage deep claims domain and application knowledge to handle testing challenges while conducting both functional and automated testing.
- Analyze intricate software requirements and design test cases based on acceptance criteria and impact of associated components.
- Create & execute automated test suites to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Perform multiple cycles of application testing until all requirements are fully met and provide quality certification along with specific evidence.
- Collaborate with development teams to conduct thorough quality checks on application changes, ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with various downstream and upstream application teams to validate the implemented changes across different application workflows.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams during final business-centric validations to ensure successful user acceptance of changes.
- Conduct pilot testing and optimize new applications or changes being made to existing applications.
- Participate in test code/script reviews and provide feedback to enhance software quality.
- Engage in the creation of test plans and discussions about test strategies.
- Work with team to improve testing processes and methodologies.
