JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales team and grow our travel and hospitality business.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sales, team handling, client communication and revenue generation. The person will be responsible for managing B2B and B2C sales, developing travel-agent partnerships, improving lead conversions and ensuring that monthly sales targets are achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, manage and motivate the sales team.
- Set monthly targets and regularly track the team’s performance.
- Handle B2B travel agents, corporate clients and direct customers.
- Generate sales for tour packages, hotel bookings and other travel services.
- Follow up on new leads and improve the overall conversion rate.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with travel agents and business partners.
- Develop new sales opportunities across different cities and markets.
- Guide the team in preparing quotations, itineraries and customised packages.
- Monitor daily calls, follow-ups, bookings and pending payments.
- Review the sales pipeline and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with the operations, reservations, accounts and marketing teams.
- Handle important clients, sales negotiations and booking closures.
- Study market trends, customer requirements and competitor offers.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews for the sales team.
- Ensure a professional and timely response to every client enquiry.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
- Good team-management and leadership ability.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work under pressure.
- Good understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes.
- Experience in lead management and CRM software.




- Basic knowledge of travel packages, hotels and tourism operations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, email and sales reporting.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and priorities at the same time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales.
- At least 2 years of experience in a team-handling or managerial position.
- Experience in the travel, tourism, hotel or hospitality industry will be preferred.
- Candidates with an existing travel-agent or corporate network will have an advantage.
