Job Summary

Responsible for research, development, optimization, and technical evaluation of agrochemical formulations. The role involves formulation development, laboratory trials, product improvement, scale-up support, and coordination with Production and QA/QC teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize current agrochemical formulations such as SC, EC, SL, WP, WG, WDG, FS, ME, etc.
- Conduct laboratory-scale formulation trials and evaluate product performance.
- Research and evaluate new formulations, active ingredients, solvents, surfactants, adjuvants, and other raw materials.
- Optimize formulation parameters for stability, efficacy, compatibility, and cost.
- Conduct physical and chemical evaluation of developed formulations.
- Perform stability studies and monitor product performance under different conditions.
- Prepare and maintain R&D; trial reports, formulation records, specifications, and technical documents.
- Support analytical method development and coordinate with QC for testing and evaluation.
- Troubleshoot formulation-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support scale-up and technology transfer of successful laboratory formulations to production.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC,



Regulatory, and Procurement teams for R&D; activities.
- Evaluate alternative raw materials and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, samples, observations, and experimental data.
- Ensure all R&D; activities are carried out according to SOPs, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on new formulation technologies, agrochemical products, and industry developments.
- Guide junior R&D; team members and assist in planning laboratory activities.

Qualification
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
- M.Pharm / M.Sc. Agrochemistry / Agriculture Chemistry may also be considered.
- B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline may be considered for relevant formulation experience.

Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in R&D;/formulation development.
- Experience in agrochemical, pesticide, chemical, pharmaceutical, or related formulation industries preferred.
- Practical experience in agrochemical formulation development will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
