Job Summary

Summary: Draw the blueprint for Hyderabads most prestigious HVAC and MEP projects with precision and expertise. A Senior Mechanical Draftsman who is fast, meticulous and capable of independently producing IFC-quality drawings with minimal supervision. This is a senior role in the design function.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Produce HVAC and MEP layout drawings, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Develop equipment layouts, duct routing plans, piping layouts and coordinated MEP drawings for client and consultant submission
- Coordinate with the design engineering team to incorporate heat load calculations, equipment selections and specifications into drawings
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings based on site feedback and marked-up red-lines
- Ensure drawing quality - naming conventions, revision control, drawing registers and IFC submission protocols
- Coordinate with civil, electrical and plumbing draftsmen for MEP clash resolution
- Support BOQ preparation by extracting quantities from drawings - duct areas, pipe lengths, equipment counts
- Mentor junior draftsmen and review their work for accuracy and quality before submission




- Comply with Arial Engineerings Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Complete any other associated task requested by the management.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
- 5-10 years as a Mechanical Draftsman specialising in HVAC and MEP drawings
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD - producing complex HVAC layouts independently
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems - ducting, chilled water piping, VRF, AHUs, FCUs
- Understanding of drawing conventions - ASHRAE, IS codes and project-specific standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings for coordination
- Good knowledge of Revit MEP is a solid advantage
