About the Role

Scrapio is a MoRTH-registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF). We buy accidental, damaged and end-of-life vehicles and recover value from them through parts salvage and material recycling.

We are hiring a Vehicle Valuation Specialist who can stand in front of a wrecked or dead vehicle and answer one question accurately: what is this vehicle worth based on what we can actually recover from it?

This is a hands-on, yard-and-field role. It is not a desk, audit or supply-chain role.

You must have personally valued or purchased accidental, salvage, used or end-of-life vehicles. Applications without direct exposure to salvage, dismantling, accidental vehicle assessment or used-vehicle buying will not be shortlisted.

What You Will Do
- Physically inspect accidental, damaged and end-of-life vehicles at our facility and at seller locations.
- Arrive at a buying price for each vehicle based on recoverable parts, scrap weight and expected realisation.
- Assess accident severity, structural and chassis damage,



mechanical condition and missing components.
- Identify and price high-value salvageable parts — engine, gearbox, ECU, catalytic converter, alloy wheels, injectors, body panels, electricals.
- Estimate ferrous and non-ferrous material recovery by vehicle type, weight and condition.
- Decide whether a vehicle is a parts case, a scrap case, or both — and defend that call commercially.
- Maintain inspection and valuation records for every vehicle assessed.
- Work daily with the procurement and dismantling teams, and support negotiation with sellers.

Who We Want
- 3+ years in vehicle valuation, salvage buying, accidental vehicle assessment, automobile dismantling, RVSF operations, motor insurance surveying, body shop estimation, or used-car inspection.
- Working knowledge of the automotive spare-parts and salvage markets, including current scrap rates.
- Ability to read mechanical and structural damage
