Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sr Accountant role based in Chandigarh.

The Sr

Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reviewing bookkeeping work, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations for international clients. The role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting audits, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

The Sr

Accountant will mentor junior team members, coordinate with client teams in different time zones,



and help improve internal controls, workflows, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess taxation and compliance skills, such as preparing and reviewing tax returns, understanding international tax concepts, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping software, with the ability to work with cloud-based tools, spreadsheets, and documentation platforms.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including financial analysis, variance analysis, and the ability to present clear, actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with international clients, mentor team members, and document processes clearly.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CA Inter, or equivalent, or a master’s/bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Several years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to international clients (US, or Recent Zealand) or outsourcing/accounting firms.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
