We are Hiring Spray Dryer Operator.
A Spray Dryer Operator or Engineer in the Ceramic Industry runs large equipment that turns wet ceramic slip or slurry into dry, uniform, free-flowing spherical granules for tile, sanitary ware, or technical ceramics pressing.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process Control: Monitor inlet and outlet hot air temperatures, slurry feed rates, and atomization pressure to control granule size and moisture.
- Quality Testing: Check output ceramic powder frequently for moisture content, bulk density, and followability.
- Equipment Operation: Start up, shut down, and manage slurry pumps, atomizers (rotary or nozzle types), hot air generators, and dust collection cyclones.
- Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean the drying chamber, explicit nozzle clogs, and inspect wear-and-tear caused by abrasive ceramic materials.
- Required Skills:
- Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid flow, and ceramic body preparation.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to fix blockage, temperature fluctuations, or inconsistent powder moisture quickly.
- Safety & Compliance: Managing high heat systems, gas/fuel lines, and wearing protective gear for dust management.
