About Role: The Spare Parts Advisor is the primary point of contact for customers, technicians, and internal teams seeking genuine spare parts and accessories. The role ensures accurate parts identification, timely availability, and qualified order fulfillment while protecting inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and aftersales revenue.

This position balances front-line customer service with disciplined inventory and systems work—translating technical requests into the right part, the right quantity, and the right delivery promise.

Key Responsibilities- Advise customers and workshop staff on correct spare parts, accessories, and related products using catalogs, VIN/serial data, and technical documentation.

- Receive, process, and track parts orders (counter, workshop, dealer, and online/phone channels) with accurate pricing, availability, and lead times.
- Identify parts using OEM catalogs, EPC systems, and cross-reference tools; resolve supersessions, kits, and alternate part numbers.
- Coordinate backorders, special orders, emergency shipments, and inter-branch transfers to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Pick, pack, and issue parts to the workshop and customers; verify quantities, condition, and documentation before release.
- Maintain stock accuracy through disciplined receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments in the ERP/DMS.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and critical-path inventory; escalate shortages and recommend reorder actions per policy.
- Process returns, warranties, cores, and credit notes in line with company and OEM procedures.
- Uphold warehouse standards: 5S/housekeeping, labeling, FIFO/FEFO where applicable, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
- Meet sales and service targets for parts revenue, fill rate, and customer satisfaction; promote genuine parts and value-added offers.




- Maintain clear communication with Service Advisors, Technicians, Logistics, and Suppliers on order status and ETA changes.
- Comply with health, safety, quality, and data-protection requirements; report incidents, near misses, and process gaps promptly. Required Qualifications & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade qualification preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in spare parts, automotive/industrial aftersales, warehouse counter sales, or a similar customer-facing parts role.
- Working knowledge of parts catalogs, VIN/serial-based lookup, and common supersession/cross-reference practices.
- Proficiency with DMS/ERP or inventory systems (e.g., dealer management, WMS, or equivalent) and standard office tools (Excel, email).
- Strong numerical accuracy for pricing, stock counts, and order quantities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical part information to non-technical customers.
- Ability to work under time pressure in a busy counter/workshop environment while remaining professional and accurate.
- Physical ability to lift and move parts packages within site safety guidelines (typical range up to ~15–20 kg with proper technique/equipment).
- Eligibility to work at the assigned location; valid local work authorization. Preferred Qualifications- Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, equipment, or OEM-authorized dealer/distributor environments.
- Familiarity with OEM electronic parts catalogs (EPC), warranty portals, and logistics tracking tools.
- Prior exposure to inventory KPIs (fill rate, turns, aging, stock accuracy) and continuous improvement (5S, lean basics).
- Forklift or material-handling certification where required by site.
- Bilingual or multilingual capability relevant to the local customer base.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or prior workshop exposure that aids parts diagnosis and fitment advice.
