EWCFI was incorporated in October 2023 with its registered office at Hyderabad, Telangana. The business develops, manufactures, sells, and exports wear protection solutions such as piping systems and other wear protection components and its accessories, for concrete conveying and other hydraulic or pneumatic conveying in various user industries.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing & Planning Manager to lead procurement, supplier management, and production planning for our operations in India. This role will play a key part in establishing and optimizing our local manufacturing presence, ensuring a seamless supply chain, and implementing ERP-driven planning processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, production planning, and ERP systems (ProAlpha or SAP preferred). You should be skilled in supplier negotiations, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization, with experience in setting up or expanding manufacturing operations.

Role & responsibilities

- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop local suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with company goals and manufacturing needs.
- Production Planning: Oversee demand forecasting, material planning, and inventory management to support efficient production.




- ERP Implementation & Optimization: Utilize ProAlpha or SAP for procurement and production planning, ensuring seamless system integration and data accuracy.
- Manufacturing Support: Assist in setting up and optimizing local manufacturing operations, ensuring supply chain readiness.
- Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to maintain operational stability.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with global supply chain teams, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment on sourcing and planning strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and production planning within a manufacturing environment, foundry, pipe manufacturing and handling Capex purchases.
- ERP experience required (ProAlpha or SAP preferred) for procurement and planning functions.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier development.
- Knowledge of Indian manufacturing regulations and supplier landscape is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
