Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SolidWorks Designer role based in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The SolidWorks Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings of mechanical components and machinery using SolidWorks and other CAD tools. Day-to-day tasks include developing and revising machine designs, preparing assembly and part drawings, and ensuring that designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements.

The role involves close collaboration with mechanical engineers, production teams, and R&D; staff to translate concepts into accurate designs, support prototyping, and resolve design-related issues.



The designer will also maintain design documentation, adhere to company standards, and support continuous improvement of products and processes.

Qualifications

- Ability to create precise Technical Drawing and engineering documentation using SolidWorks and related CAD tools.
- Skills in Machine Design for industrial equipment, including layout, component selection, and assembly design.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, preferably SolidWorks, for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D;), including prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvement.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional on-site teams.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or machinery workplace is an advantage.
