About the Opportunity

Aakriti Constructions & Developers is strengthening its internal technology capability and is looking for two Software Engineers to join our team.

We are developing a new generation of in-house business software and automation systems to connect and improve various functions across our organisation.

Unlike a conventional software-services role where engineers move between client projects, this opportunity involves working directly with the business and building software that will be owned, deployed and used within the organisation.

The selected engineers will have the opportunity to understand real business processes, translate them into software workflows, build integrations and applications, and see their work being used in day-to-day operations.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for engineers with approximately 1.53 years of software development experience and a strong willingness to learn and build.

Core Technical Skills

Candidates should have good working knowledge of:

- Python

- JavaScript / TypeScript

- React

- SQL and relational databases

- REST APIs and backend/frontend integration

- Git and standard software development practices

- Basic understanding of application architecture, deployment and production systems

Knowledge or exposure to distributed systems, integrations, background jobs, queues, Docker, Linux or cloud infrastructure would be an advantage.

Major Advantage

Experience with the following would be particularly valuable:

- Frappe Framework

- Building applications or customisations using Frappe - Business workflow or enterprise application development

- PostgreSQL / MariaDB





- API integrations between different business systems

- Docker and Linux-based deployments

Candidates with hands-on Frappe Framework experience will be strongly preferred.

What You Will Work On The engineers will work on developing and improving Aakriti's internal software ecosystem, including areas such as:

- Business process automation

- Internal workflow applications

- Finance and operational workflows
- Procurement and project-related systems

- Management dashboards and reporting

- Approval and authorisation workflows

- Employee and organisational workflows
- Integration between different internal applications

- APIs and data synchronisation
- Mobile/web interfaces for internal users
- Automation of repetitive operational processes

The role will involve both development and problem-solving. Engineers will interact with business users, understand how processes actually work, and convert those requirements into reliable software. Why This Role Is Different

- Has strong fundamentals in Python and modern web development
- Can understand an existing codebase and improve it
- Is comfortable working across frontend, backend and database layers
- Can independently investigate and solve technical problems
- Is interested in understanding how businesses actually operate
- Wants significant ownership relatively early in their career
- Is comfortable learning new frameworks and technologies when required
