Job Purpose

Eisco is an aggressively expanding global enterprise operating at the intersection of manufacturing, technology, and global supply chains. We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Software Engineer who thrives on complete technical autonomy and end-to-end system ownership.

In this role, you will architect, build, and maintain the software ecosystem that powers our business operations and core products—including cloud integrations connecting enterprise systems, our global e-commerce infrastructure, critical internal tooling, and brand-new software products built from the ground up.

We operate a high-performance, merit-based engineering environment. We do not micro-manage or assign isolated, narrowly defined task tickets; instead, you will be handed complex business challenges and expected to design, ship, and operate resilient systems independently. Expect your work to be split roughly evenly between modernizing existing architectures and engineering new, scalable capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Discovery & Spec Ownership

- Systems Integration & Cloud Middleware: Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services and data pipelines connecting core enterprise platforms (ERP, e-commerce, CRM). Build robust API architectures and reliable system-to-system data synchronization workflows.
- E-commerce Platform Ownership: Take complete technical accountability for the reliability, speed, and API customization of our global e-commerce infrastructure.
- Internal Tools & Core Infrastructure: Maintain and optimize established internal tools and customer-facing products, improving system uptime, maintainability, and code quality.
- Architecting Current Products: Lead the system architecture, database schema design,



and API specification for current software initiatives across our expanding product portfolio.
- AI-Enabled Workflows: Integrate advanced LLM APIs and AI capabilities into operational products, engineering reliable systems around non-deterministic components and structured data handling.
- Security & Data Integrity: Enforce contemporary security standards across all services, including secure API design, robust credential/secrets management, fine-grained access control (RBAC), and strict data compliance.

Skills required:

Core Technical Capabilities (Essential)

- Programming Depth: Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep engineering mastery in at least one and production fluency in the other.
- Backend Frameworks: Hands-on experience architecting applications using FastAPI, Django, or Flask (Python) as well as Node.js with Express or NestJS (JS/TS).
- Database Design & Performance: Advanced relational database design (PostgreSQL / MySQL), schema normalization, indexing strategies, complex query optimization, and schema migration management.
- APIs & System Integration: Modern REST and GraphQL API design, webhook ingestion, third-party system integrations (ERP/e-commerce/CRM), and idempotent data reconciliation.
- Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps (GCP preferred): Production experience deploying serverless and managed cloud services (e.g., GCP Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Firebase). Proficiency with Docker containerization and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- E-commerce Tech Stack:



Hands-on API integration experience with platforms such as Shopify (Shopify Admin GraphQL API, app development, and webhook management).
- Security & Auth Protocols: Production implementation of OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication/authorization flows, secret management services, and secure data storage practices.

Valued Secondary Skills (Plus)

- Ability to build or tweak web frontends using modern frameworks (React or similar) when required.
- Practical experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into enterprise production workflows.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and observability systems (logging, metrics, alerting).

Experience Level
- Formal Educational Qualification: BTech or MTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Information Technology, or a closely related core engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated Technical Competency: 5–8 years of proven experience building, shipping, and maintaining complex backend and cloud infrastructure in production environments.
- System Ownership & Maturity: A track record of taking full lifecycle ownership of software systems—from initial architectural scoping to live production monitoring and debugging under pressure.
- Problem-Solving Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to dissect ambiguous business problems, define technical requirements independently, and build software that scales without requiring constant supervisory oversight.
- Skill Growth over Tenure: Progression driven by technical depth, structural computer science fundamentals, and actual engineering output rather than mere years spent in a role.
