Job brief:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Next.js and Strapi to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications, collaborating with designers, project managers, and senior developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Next.js.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and content management solutions using Strapi.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and bug-free releases.
- Maintain project documentation and technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Frontend
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with React.js and Next.js
- Responsive web development
- API integration and state management
Backend
- Experience with Strapi CMS
- REST API development and integration
- Basic understanding of Node.js
- Database knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on CMS-driven websites.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for web applications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
