Role Description The Social Science Professor at PW will teach social science subjects to school and competitive exam aspirants, delivering engaging lectures and interactive classroom sessions aligned with PW’s curriculum and pedagogical standards. The professor will design lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and develop assessments to evaluate learner progress, while incorporating current events and real-world examples to deepen understanding. Daily responsibilities include mentoring learners, addressing doubts during and after class, conducting periodic tests, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.





The role also involves collaborating with academic teams to refine course content, contribute to study materials or video lessons, and participate in faculty training or academic review meetings. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) and the ability to connect concepts to real-world contexts.
- Demonstrated teaching, lecturing, or coaching experience at school, college, or coaching institutes; familiarity with Indian school curricula and competitive exam patterns.
- Effective classroom management, learner engagement, and mentoring skills, with the ability to support diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills in English and at least one regional language, with clear explanation and doubt-solving abilities.
- Comfort with using technology in teaching, including digital content, presentations, and learning management systems.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g., History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Social Sciences); B.Ed. or formal teacher training is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and research abilities to update content, align with latest exam trends, and maintain academic rigor.
- Team-oriented mindset, professionalism, and willingness to work flexible hours aligned with learner schedules and academic calendars.
