We are seeking a Purchase Incharge with 2 to 3 years of experience to oversee our procurement activities in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will manage purchase orders, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Vendor Management**: Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and negotiate favorable terms.
2. **Purchase Order Management**: Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and promptly to ensure timely supply of materials.
3. **Inventory Control**: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with departments to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
4. **Market Analysis**: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
5. **Cost Management**: Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement expenses.
6. **Reporting**: Generate regular reports on purchasing activities and present findings to management for informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation and communication skills, with an analytical mindset for evaluating suppliers and costs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software is essential. The candidate must be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and able to work under pressure.
