Site Engineer – Fresher (Civil / Electrical)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Project/Site In-charge in day-to-day site execution and project activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Monitor site work progress and report daily activities to the reporting manager.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings, layouts, BOQs, and specifications.
- Assist in material inspection, measurement, and quantity verification.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, checklists, and documentation.
- Support testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities as applicable to the project.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams for site material requirements.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, and material requirements to the Project Manager.
- Follow company and client requirements related to quality, safety, and site discipline.
- Attend site meetings and assist in preparing progress updates.
- Be willing to travel and work at project sites across Tamil Nadu.

For Electrical Engineering Candidates

- Basic understanding of electrical systems, LT/HT equipment, panels, cables, earthing,



and electrical installations.
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and automation equipment.

For Civil Engineering Candidates

- Basic understanding of civil construction activities and engineering drawings.
- Assist in foundation, equipment mounting, trenching, ducting, cable route, and other civil works related to electrical/utility projects.
- Check site measurements and quantities as per drawings and BOQ.
- Coordinate with civil contractors and monitor work progress.
- Ensure civil works are completed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Skills Required

- Good basic technical knowledge of Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Positive problem-solving and learning attitude.
- Strong sense of responsibility and site discipline.
- Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

- B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of site/project experience may also apply.
- Candidates should be willing to work at project sites in Tamil Nadu.
