Job Summary:

Responsible for managing day-to-day shop floor operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety, manpower utilization, and timely delivery while driving productivity and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily shop floor production activities and operations

- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and resources to meet production targets

- Monitor production output, productivity, downtime, rejection, and rework

- Ensure production is carried out as per approved quality standards and specifications

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Planning teams

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions

- Monitor machine utilization and coordinate preventive maintenance activities

- Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and consumables on the shop floor

- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Maintain production records, shift reports, and KPI dashboards

- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company SOPs

- Train, guide,



and supervise operators, technicians, and production supervisors

- Drive reduction in production losses, wastage, rejection, and operational costs

Skills Required:

- Robust knowledge of manufacturing and shop floor operations

- Production planning and manpower management skills

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma

- Understanding of quality control and production KPIs

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Good knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel

- Strong leadership and team management abilities

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma / BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

- 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing/shop floor operations

- Previous experience as Production Manager / Shop Floor Manager / Production Supervisor preferred

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
