Job DescriptionDesign | Product Development | Creative Coordination/n/nExperience: Fresher / 0–1 Year/nIndustry: Fashion Export House | Multi-Brand/nReporting to: Director/n/nThe Prospect/n/nWe’re looking for a smart, creative and highly driven fashion design fresher who wants to learn fast and gain hands-on exposure to how a fashion business actually works./n/nYou’ll work closely with the Director across multiple brands, getting involved in everything from design and product development to sampling, meetings and execution./n/nThis is not a typical assistant role. It’s for someone who wants to learn directly from leadership, take responsibility early and grow into a strong fashion professional./n/nWhat You’ll Do/n/n
Assist with design, trend research, moodboards, CADs, fabrics, trims and product development./n
Work with sampling and development teams to take products from concept to final sample./n
Attend key meetings with the Director and maintain clear notes, decisions and action points./n
Communicate requirements to the right teams and ensure nothing gets lost in translation./n
Track assignments, samples, approvals and deadlines — and follow through until they’re done./n
Coordinate across design, merchandising, sampling, sourcing and production./n
Gradually take ownership of products and projects as you grow./n/nWho We’re Looking For/n/nA Fashion Design graduate/fresher who is:/n/n
Hungry to learn and grow/n
Creative with a good eye for fashion/n
Extremely organised and detail-oriented/n
A clear communicator and valuable note-taker/n
Comfortable following up and getting things done/n
Curious about both design and the business of fashion/n
Comfortable in a rapid-paced, multi-brand environment/n/nWorking knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, CADs, tech packs, fabrics and garment construction is preferred./n/nWhy This Role?/n/nYou won’t only learn how to design./n/nYou’ll learn how designs become products, products become collections, teams execute ideas, buyers are handled, brands are built and a fashion business is run./n/nDesign → Product Development → Sampling → Merchandising → Production → Brands → Business/n/nIf you’re looking for your first job simply to gain experience, this may not be for you./n/n/n- If you want to learn rapid, work closely with decision-makers and take on more responsibility as you prove yourself — we’d like to meet you./n
