Job Description - Guidewire Business Analyst

Role: Guidewire Business Analyst - P&C; Insurance

Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements for P&C; Insurance applications.
Work with business stakeholders, Underwriting, Claims, Billing and IT teams.
Prepare BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional specifications.
Work on Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
Analyze insurance processes including Policy, Rating, Underwriting, Billing, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements and Cancellations.
Support functional, integration and UAT activities.
Perform gap analysis and translate business requirements into Guidewire solutions.




Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming and stakeholder discussions.
Coordinate with development and QA teams for issue resolution and successful releases.

Must Have
5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
Robust P&C; Insurance domain knowledge.
Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter.
Experience with requirements gathering, user stories and UAT.
Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum.
Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
