Job Summary The Weaving Production Department is responsible for operating and maintaining looms to produce high-quality fabric. Key tasks include setting up and running looms, troubleshooting issues, and adjusting settings to meet production goals. The team ensures looms are well-maintained and coordinates with other departments to keep production running smoothly.

Role Purpose An Supervisor in Production ensures efficient shift operations, meets production targets, and maintains quality standards. Key duties include managing shed operations, motivating the team, reducing waste, improving efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining safety. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to optimize production performance and meet financial goals.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

1. Developing and implementing action plans to meet shift production targets.
2. Monitoring shift-wise production and quality trends.
3. Allocating manpower and ensure loom and material availability for each shift.
4. Conducting daily quality meetings to reduce rejection rates and enhance fabric quality.
5. Collaborating with the PPC team for shift-wise loom operations, sizing beams, and yarn requirements.
6. Managing weft yarn, warp beams, and color bobbins to ensure uninterrupted loom operation.

Conducting production meetings at the end of each shift to review targets.
8. Maintaining discipline among operators and emphasize the importance of product quality.
9. Ensuring safety compliance, proper PPE use, and address near-miss incidents.
10. Analysing reports to address loom issues on a shift basis.
11. Hold weekly meetings to drive overall improvements.
12. Reporting sizing and yarn issues to the PPC team for vendor action.
13. Ensuring looms operate according to specifications.
14. Preparing and share knotting and gaiting checklists daily with the production manager.
15. Entering production data on a shift basis.
16. Reviewing efficiency reports and address low performance.
17. Reducing knotting and gaiting downtime to improve productivity.
18. Ensuring loom running efficiency is maintained during break times.
19. Preparing and sharing MIS report to higher authority regularly.
20. Accepting and carrying out new duties and responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
