Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer UI Specialist with expertise in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow's UI capabilities, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing user-centric solutions that enhance the ServiceNow user experience.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Development

Design and develop user interfaces within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless navigation and functionality.

Leverage ServiceNow Studio and UI tools like Service Portal, Workspace UI, or UI Builder to create interactive applications.

Customization and Configuration

Customize and configure ServiceNow modules to meet client requirements.

Develop and implement custom widgets using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the ServiceNow platform.

Build reusable code libraries and components to support scalability and maintainability.

Integration and Testing

Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with ServiceNow workflows and data.

Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Collaboration and Documentation

Work closely with stakeholders to understand UI requirements and provide best-practice recommendations.

Document design specifications, development processes, and test plans.

Performance Optimization

Optimize the UI for speed, responsiveness,



and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues to enhance the user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI tools including Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspace customization.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap.

Experience in building responsive and interactive UI elements and pages.

ServiceNow Knowledge

Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and core modules.

Knowledge of Scoped Applications and ServiceNow best practices for UI development.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize UI components and customizations effectively.

Communication

Strong collaboration and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with AngularJS, React, or other front-end frameworks.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of REST APIs and their integration with ServiceNow.
