We have an URGENT OPENING for the position of Service Engineer – MV Switchgear with a leading Switchgear manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia.

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Service Engineer – MV Switchgear

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in MV Switchgear / Electrical Field Services

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation, testing, and commissioning of MV Switchgear

Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical switchgear systems

Protection relay testing and commissioning

Working with control panels, IEC 61850, and SCADA systems

Site commissioning and technical support to clients

Preparation of service reports and technical documentation

Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and HSE standards

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Install, test, and commission 11kV/MV switchgear systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing installations and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues related to electrical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize system performance.

Job Requirements :





- 5-10 years of experience in the power industry, specifically in 11kV/MV switchgear installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Solid knowledge of VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) technology and its applications.
- Experience working on high-voltage electrical systems, including MV switchgear panels.
