Role Description This is a remote internship role for an SEO Intern at Great Hire. The SEO Intern will support day-to-day search optimization activities, including conducting keyword research, assisting with on-page SEO updates, and contributing to SEO audits of websites and content.

The role involves monitoring basic web analytics, identifying opportunities to improve organic visibility, and supporting link-building initiatives under guidance from senior team members.



The intern will collaborate with the marketing and content teams, document findings, and prepare simple reports or summaries of SEO performance and recommendations.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform keyword research and analyze search intent using basic SEO tools.
- Foundational skills in conducting SEO audits and identifying technical or content-related issues.
- Understanding of link building principles and ethical outreach practices.
- Basic knowledge of web analytics tools to track traffic, engagement, and SEO performance.
- Familiarity with on-page SEO, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Interest in digital marketing and a willingness to learn and adapt to recent SEO trends and tools.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in marketing, communications, IT, or a related field is beneficial.
