Search Visibility Startup (AI) is Looking for:**** SEO & AEO Content Specialist (AI-Assisted) Role Overview We''''''''''''''''re looking for an adaptable, forward-thinking SEO & AEO Content Specialist to help drive visibility across traditional search engines and modern AI answer engines.

You''''''''''''''''ll leverage AI tools — primarily Claude — to scale high-quality content production, while applying manual expertise in technical SEO, citation management, and deep editorial refinement to ensure top-tier output.

Experience Needed

- 1–2 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital copy editing
- Proven experience working with generative AI tools for text production and optimization
- A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to take AI-generated drafts and refine them into polished, human-sounding, fact-checked content
- Experience executing local SEO strategies, specifically citation building and management

Core Technical Skills

- AEO & Advanced Content Optimization
- SGE & AEO: Understanding of how LLMs and answer engines pull data (e.g., Perplexity, Gemini, OpenAI Search). Ability to optimize content for direct answers, featured snippets, and conversational queries.
- Structured Data: Basic understanding of Schema markup to help search/answer engines easily parse site data.
- Traditional & Technical SEO
- On-Page & Technical SEO: Strong grasp of search intent, keyword mapping, URL structures, internal linking, and diagnosing basic crawlability/indexing issues.
- Citation & Local SEO Management:



Experience building, auditing, and maintaining consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) citations across directories (e.g., Yelp, YellowPages, local databases).
- AI Fluidity & Prompt Engineering
- Advanced Prompting: Ability to write precise prompts in Claude to control tone, style, structure, and semantic depth.
- AI Output Refinement: Sharp editorial eye to eliminate "AI hallmarks" (clichés, repetitive phrasing, fluff) and inject brand voice, subject-matter authority, and accurate data.

Tool Stack Requirements Comfortable with, or highly eager to master:

- Primary AI Engine: Claude (Anthropic)
- SEO Suites: Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz
- Analytics & Performance: Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Citation Tools: BrightLocal, Whitespark, or Yext (preferred but not mandatory)

Soft Skills & Cultural Fit

- High Adaptability: Comfortable in a quick-paced environment where search algorithms and AI capabilities change weekly
- A "Learn-on-the-Fly" Mentality: Proactive about testing new prompts, workflows, and optimization techniques without needing constant hand-holding
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous about fact-checking AI output and ensuring technical SEO parameters are flawless
