Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day production operations and achieve production targets.
Handle complete soap/oil soap manufacturing processes from raw material charging to finishing and packing.
Plan manpower, production schedules, and machine utilization.
Monitor oil/fat, caustic soda, fillers, chemicals and other raw materials to minimize wastage.
Maintain product quality, batch consistency and production efficiency.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Purchase departments.
Reduce production losses, downtime and manufacturing costs.
Lead and train production supervisors and workers.
Ensure factory safety, housekeeping and process discipline.
Maintain production reports, batch records and daily MIS.

Preferred candidate profile

I would strongly prefer someone who has actually worked on the shop floor of an oil soap/soap manufacturing plant, rather than a general FMCG Production Manager.
