Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems, components, and products. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in mechanical design principles, proficiency with CAD software, and an eagerness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools.
Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
Perform tolerance analysis, fitment checks, and design validations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical, and quality departments.
Assist in prototype development, testing, and design iteration.
Support documentation and engineering change management (ECN/ECR) processes.
Conduct basic FEA or simulation analysis for stress, thermal,



or motion (if applicable).
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, safety, and cost constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech or M.E/MTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Robust understanding of mechanical design fundamentals materials, GD&T;, manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD software, such as:
UG NX
SolidWorks
CATIA
Creo (Pro/ENGINEER)
Autodesk Inventor
Familiarity with 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD or DraftSight).
Basic knowledge of CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, COMSOL) is an advantage.
Understanding of DFM/DFA principles and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
