Automotive Embedded Software Engineer (Bootloader / CCU / DCU)

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Key Skills Required
Robust experience in Embedded C/C++ Development
Hands-on experience in Bootloader Development, UDS, Flash Programming, Memory & Peripheral Initialization
Experience in Application and Middleware Development (IPC, Message Queues, DBus, Systemd)
Knowledge of Automotive Communication Protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, UDS
Experience in CCU/DCU/TCU/Gateway Integration and Automotive Embedded Systems
Hands-on experience with Telemetry/Telematics Applications and Modem Integration
Exposure to AUTOSAR MCAL, Device Drivers, and CDD Development
Experience with Automotive Cybersecurity concepts such as Secure Boot, Secure Flash, and Secure Debug
Robust debugging and issue analysis skills (Trace32 preferred)
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, vehicle log collection, and root cause analysis

Preferred Skills




Experience with Vector FBL or similar Flash Bootloader architectures
Exposure to BCM, SMK, CCU, DCU, or Gateway applications
Knowledge of hardware schematics and system integration
Experience with open-source bootloaders (U-Boot, etc.)
Understanding of vehicle lifecycle and manufacturing activities

Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, and validate embedded software for automotive systems.
Work on bootloaders, middleware, telematics, gateway, and body electronics applications.
Analyze requirements, debug issues, and support testing and integration activities.
Participate in architecture, design discussions, and technical reviews.
