Role & responsibilities
Manage merchandising activities for assigned lighting, lampshade and home dcor categories.
Coordinate product sampling, approvals, costing and production.
Prepare product costing and maintain target margins.
Source and coordinate with vendors/manufacturers.
Negotiate product costs, MOQ, lead time and commercial terms.
Maintain product specifications, costing sheets and merchandising MIS.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Quality, Sales and Warehouse.
Resolve vendor, quality, delivery and product-related issues.
Prepare regular merchandising reports for management.
Support showroom, catalogue, online and other sales channels with appropriate product assortment.
Contribute ideas for improving product range, profitability and overall merchandising efficiency.
