Role & responsibilities
Clinical Care
Handle daily ward rounds as per duty Roster and track patient progress.
Manage emergencies, acute illnesses, and critical cases in the PICU/NICU.
Perform clinical procedures like lumbar punctures, intubations, and IV cannulation.
Prescribe treatments, vaccinations, and monitor growth or nutrition
Academic & Supervisory Tasks
Guide and teach interns, medical students, and junior residents.
Clinical discussions.
Oversee junior staff compliance with hospital rules
Communication & Administration
Counsel parents regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and care plans.
Maintain accurate medical records, handovers, and discharge summaries.
Coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary hospital teams

MD - Pediatrics / DNB - Pediatrics
