Job Summary

JD - Performance Testing Analyst :

We are looking for a highly motivated Performance Testing Analyst (5-6Yrs Relevant Exp) with strong performance testing expertise, excellent analytical skills, and exposure to modern engineering practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analysing performance tests while working closely with development, infrastructure, architecture, and business teams to ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with performance testing tools, cloud platforms, databases, application monitoring tools, and scripting technologies, along with the ability to translate business requirements into effective performance testing solutions.

Performance Testing

Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner & JMeter.

Plan and execute Load, Stress, Spike, Volume, and Endurance testing.

Create workload models and test scenarios based on business and production usage patterns.

Define test data requirements and coordinate data preparation activities.

Produce performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Support release readiness assessments and non-functional test sign-off activities.

Experience with Microservices Arch and testing.

Performance Analysis

Analyse performance test results and identify application, database, infrastructure, and network bottlenecks.

Perform root cause analysis and work with engineering & development teams to resolve performance issues.





Monitor system behaviour during testing and provide recommendations for performance improvements.

Validate performance against agreed SLAs and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).

Understanding of Performance Engineering concepts.

Engineering & Automation

Develop automation utilities using Python to support performance testing activities.

Assist in automating test execution, reporting, and data preparation.

Apply engineering best practices across the testing lifecycle.

Monitoring & Observability

Use APM tools to monitor application performance and identify performance issues.

Analyse application, infrastructure, database, and cloud metrics.

Collaborate with development and platform teams to optimize performance.

Agile Delivery

Work effectively within Agile/SAFe delivery teams.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI planning, and release activities.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure performance requirements are met.

Hands-on experience with:

LoadRunner

JMeter

Performance Analysis

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience identifying performance bottlenecks across application, database,



and infrastructure layers.

Ability to interpret performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations.

Programming & Scripting

Experience with Python scripting.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java.

Exposure to Unix/Linux environments, commands and scripting.

Cloud Platforms

Experience working with one or more:

Ideal Candidate Profile A Performance Testing Analyst who combines robust hands-on testing capabilities with excellent analytical and investigative skills, has experience with LoadRunner/JMeter, APM tools, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Java, Python, and databases, and can effectively partner with engineering teams to ensure applications are scalable, stable, and production-ready.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in performance testing (e.g., Certified Software Test Professional) are a plus.
