Senior Software Engineer (4–7 Years Experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in

SQL, ETL processes, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), along with solid knowledge of the US Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate should also have effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and interact with clients when required.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.

 Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

 Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making.

 Work with cloud-based data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

 Analyse and work with US healthcare datasets (claims, providers, eligibility,

etc.).

 Ensure high data quality, governance, and compliance standards.

 Participate in client interactions, including requirement gathering, discussions,

and issue resolution.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Experience:



4–7 years in software engineering / data engineering roles.

 Strong SQL Expertise: Advanced querying, performance tuning, indexing, and data modelling.

 ETL Experience: Hands-on in developing ETL pipelines (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or cloud-native tools like Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue).

 Power BI (PBI): Strong experience in dashboards, DAX, and data visualization.

 Cloud Platforms (MANDATORY): Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, including data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AWS Glue, Redshift, etc.).

 US Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data models and workflows.

 Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and clients.

 Robust understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

 Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

 Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.)

 Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Databricks, etc.)

 Scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.) for data processing

 Exposure to data governance and security standards
