Job Description Plant Head (CNC & Bandsaw)
Overall responsibility for plant production and day-to-day operations.
Plan and achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
Manage CNC machining and bandsaw cutting operations.
Solid hands-on knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, inserts, offsets and machining parameters.
Optimize cycle time, machine utilization and productivity.
Monitor bandsaw blade selection, cutting parameters and material wastage.
Troubleshoot CNC, bandsaw and production-related problems.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to minimize downtime and rejection.
Manage operators, setters and production manpower.
Ensure proper machine maintenance, safety and 5S.
Control tooling, consumables and production costs.
Monitor daily production, downtime, rejection and productivity KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Preferably experienced in heavy engineering / oil & gas / API manufacturing.
