ServiceNow SPM – Strategic Portfolio Management

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) Developer/Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow SPM/PPM solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across portfolio, project, demand, resource, and financial management processes, along with strong ServiceNow development and integration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
- Strong understanding of SPM capabilities such as:
- Project Management
- Portfolio Management
- Demand Management
- Resource Management
- Strategic Planning
- Financial Management
- Agile Development / SAFe
- Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, including multi-instance and enterprise environments.
- Strong ServiceNow development experience using:
- JavaScript
- Glide APIs
- Client Scripts
- Business Rules
- UI Policies
- Script Includes
- Workflows / Flow Designer
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and APIs.
- Ability to configure and customize SPM applications based on business and stakeholder requirements.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, SPM, PPM, and ITIL v4 processes.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions,



and translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Preferred ServiceNow Certifications

- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM)

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience with end-to-end SPM implementations.
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM upgrades, enhancements, and optimization.
- Knowledge of microservices, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise integration frameworks.
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Intermediate Certification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Protected environments.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow SPM with enterprise tools such as ERP, HR, Finance, PPM, or project management platforms.
- Understanding of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting within SPM.
- Experience with resource capacity planning, demand prioritization, portfolio planning, and financial tracking.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will combine strong ServiceNow technical expertise with a solid understanding of SPM/PPM business processes, and should be comfortable working directly with clients, stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to implement scalable SPM solutions.
