Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 8. The candidate should be able to explain scientific concepts clearly and use practical, activity-based, and inquiry-based teaching methods to develop students’ curiosity and critical-thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Grades 6–8.
- Follow the school curriculum and complete the syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Teach concepts from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science as applicable to the curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, projects, and activity-based learning.
- Use smart boards, digital resources, and other technology to enhance classroom learning.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain students’ academic records and notebooks.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage scientific thinking,



curiosity, problem-solving, and participation in science activities.
- Communicate students’ progress with parents and coordinate with the academic team.
- Participate in examinations, PTMs, school events, training programs, and other academic activities.
- Ensure proper laboratory safety practices during practical activities.

Qualifications

- B.Sc / M.Sc in Science or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed is preferred/required as per school requirements.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Good English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum is preferred.
- Experience teaching Grades 6–8 in a school environment is preferred.

Experience 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
