Senior SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant

Working Hours:

- August, September, October, February, March: IST working hours
- November, December, January, April, May, June: Korea or Australia working hours

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.

The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of SAP SD experience, including 6+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience , with multiple full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations. This role requires strong configuration expertise and the ability to lead AS-IS / TO-BE discussions, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and stakeholder engagement .

Mandatory Requirements

- 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience.
- 6+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Experience with multiple S/4HANA implementations , preferably 3+ full lifecycle implementations .
- Robust expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
- Hands-on SAP SD configuration experience.
- Strong experience working on global, multi-country SAP implementations and rollouts .
- Candidates primarily focused on production support/AMS without significant implementation experience are not preferred .

Key Responsibilities SAP S/4HANA SD Solution Design & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end SAP SD / OTC implementation and rollout activities.
- Drive AS-IS / TO-BE process discussions , fit-gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA SD solutions.




- Act as the functional SME for SD-related design and implementation activities.

Core SAP SD Configuration Hands-on experience with:
- Sales documents
- Item categories
- Schedule lines
- Pricing procedures, condition records, and access sequences
- Output management
- Copy controls
- Partner determination
- Billing processes
- Invoices
- Credit/debit memos
- Pro forma billing
- Sales orders, deliveries, goods issue, and billing

S/4HANA Capabilities

- Experience with Business Partner in S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA functionality.
- Condition Contract Management (CCM) / Settlement Management experience is highly desirable.
- Understanding of rebates, accruals, and partial/final settlements is a plus.

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

- FI/CO – account determination, revenue posting, settlement, and tax integration.
- MM / EWM / TM – delivery, picking, shipping, freight, and stock availability.
- GTS – trade compliance and global trade management.
- ABAP and integration teams for WRICEF developments .
- External systems and interface teams supporting OTC processes.

Testing, Deployment & Support




- Prepare and review Functional Design Documents (FDD/FSD) and interface specifications.
- Lead/support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Coordinate with technical teams on WRICEF objects and integrations.
- Support defect resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure solutions follow global template standards while accommodating regional requirements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to AMS/support teams.

- Act as a trusted functional advisor to business and IT stakeholders.
- Lead process and solution-design discussions with business users.
- Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams, system integrators, and regional stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively across functional and technical teams.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global transformation environment.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior SAP SD implementation specialist with 10+ years of SAP SD experience and 6+ years of S/4HANA exposure , including multiple full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations. Strong OTC, SD configuration, pricing, billing, integration, and global rollout experience is essential.
